Master developer of freehold properties in Ras Al Khaimah, Marjan launched its latest mixed-use destination called RAK Central, which will feature a commercial district and Grade-A office.
The said project is scheduled to open in 2026 and upon its completion, it would offer rentable office space of about 3 million square feet.
In addition, it would also have three hotels boasting a capacity of more than 1000 keys, 4,000 residential apartments, various entertainment and retail facilities and multiple parks and green spaces.
There will also be several interconnected buildings that would offer visitors more than 1,000 parking spaces.
Construction work on the project is scheduled to begin this year, with the main business complex and first phase of the infrastructure scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2026.
Marjan also revealed that RAK central would feature the northern emirates’ largest commercial business district.
They will tailor the commercial spaces as per the requirements of the anchor tenants and a flexible design would be facilitated through open floor plans.
RAK Central would offer views of the Arabian Gulf and Al Hamra Golf Club due to its location on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi Street.
The project is expected to become the largest business hub in Ras Al Khaimah, which would attract businesses and other organizations in the region for setting up their headquarters.
According to Marjan, RAK Central would also comply with the sustainability principles that have been outlined under the LEED Gold Certification.
Furthermore, it will also harness advanced technology solutions, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) for creating a state-of-the-art and smart ecosystem where businesses and communities can thrive.
The project would also help Marjan in cementing its reputation as a developer of quality residential destinations.
It would also offer residential plots that can be developed and purchased by investors.
The meticulous plan of land plots would ensure that all units offer scenic views. They will also include parks and wide-open spaces for establishing a serene lifestyle.
Abdulla Al Abdouli, the CEO of Marjan said that with RAK Central, Ras Al Khaimah would experience a new era of economic growth.

He said that after Al Marjan Island’s success, they are focusing on diverse projects aimed at creating master-planned communities.
The CEO also disclosed that they would develop RAK Central in phases. The first phase’s construction would comprise of commercial office space for rent spread across one million square feet.
It would also offer other spaces for development, including 34 exclusive residential plots where residential towers can be constructed to a height of 200 meters.
As part of the first phase, Marjan’s own mixed-use office complex and headquarters have been designed by a renowned architecture firm, Gensler.
