On Thursday, developers announced the first residential clock tower in Dubai, which will also be the world’s tallest residential clock tower.
An event was conducted to unveil the project that also marks the collaboration between premium real estate developer in the UAE, London Gate, and Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, Franck Muller.
For the last three decades, Franck Muller has become the horology industry’s global trendsetter and this collaboration marks its entry into the real estate market.
The highly anticipated development of London Gate in Dubai Marina will become the tallest residential tower in the emirate at 450m.
It will also be a branded residential tower and will be the world’s tallest residential clock tower. London Gate’s CEO, Eman Taha, also talked about the project.
The CEO said that they had made their debut in the real estate market and had seen their projects like Nadine I and II and Maya 5 become sold out.
Now, they were excited to announce their spectacular collaboration with the renowned watchmaker Franck Muller.
Taha said that they would launch the first-ever branded residences on behalf of Franck Muller with their latest project.
The purpose of the partnership is to develop a living experience reflecting the values of the brand and the vision of Franck Muller as well as London Gate itself.
The chief executive said that the exclusive branded residential development would serve as a testament to their commitment to craft never-seen and exceptional spaces that resonate with the prestige of their brand partner.
The name of the tower is Aeternitas, which is the name of a watch made by Franck Muller. It is considered the most complicated watch to exist in the world.
The company’s website dictates that it has a total of 1,483 components and 36 complications.
Managing director of Franck Muller, Erol Baliyan, said that they were excited to partner with London Gate for expanding in the Middle East.
The director said that they had been exploring UAE’s branded residential market strategically for bringing their heritage to the real estate industry.
He also added that launching the first-ever real estate collaboration of the brand in a top city like Dubai was an incredible experience for them.
He praised Dubai for its reputation of being one of the world’s most luxurious, vibrant and developed cities.
He went on to say that the collaboration and launch would mark the beginning of a new chapter for Franck Muller.
He stated that they were looking forward to introducing a record-breaking legacy for the brand and it would be one of the numerous iconic ventures that they plan on launching globally.
The official unveiling of the luxury residential project is scheduled to take place in January 2024 and the completion of the project and handover to residents is expected by 2026.
