Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and a boutique developer, Ellington Properties, have joined hands to launch Mercer House, a new upscale residential project, in Uptown Dubai.
The former is the flagship free zone in the world and the Government of Dubai Authority on enterprise and commodities trade.
Mercer House is Ellington Properties’ second signature development and is the beginning of another chapter of its collaboration with DMCC.
Earlier this year, they had enjoyed massive success with UH by Ellington, as it had recorded a very high demand.
It would be the tallest residential building to be developed by Ellington Properties to date, as it would grace the skyline of Dubai with two residential towers made upon a podium.
Mercer House would offer amenities that are focused on hospitality, sports, retail and wellness. It would comprise of a collection of multi-family residential units.
These include one, two and three-bedroom apartments, expansive studios and also four penthouses. There will also be a beach club covering an area of 45,000 square feet.
The podium and ground floors would also include retail options that cover an area of about 25,000 square feet.
In addition, the general public and residents would also be able to benefit from a range of facilities, including exclusive residents’ pool, beach club pool and a sports hall with different play courts.
The strategic location of Mercer House in the diverse region of Uptown Dubai would also enable inhabitants to take advantage of the community markets, world-class dining experiences and retail offerings.
It is due to these that Uptown Dubai has become the top destination in the city, not just for living, but also for entertainment and indulging.
Joseph Thomas, the co-founder of Ellington Properties, said that their first project had received a positive response and the second one was a testament to their relationship with DMCC.
He went on to say that they would continue to transform Uptown Dubai because they want it to become the ultimate destination for investors and homebuyers who want to live in the emirate.
He stated that Mercer House would prove to be a major achieve for Ellington Properties as a design-led developer.
Thomas also asserted that the project would reinforce the perception of Uptown Dubai as a smart district that can deliver one-of-a-kind living experiences to residents.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, the CEO and Executive Chairman of DMCC, said that they had facilitated and built an award-winning and world-class district for trade and enterprise for two decades.
He added that the DMCC had also helped in transforming Uptown Dubai and JLT into some of the most desirable destinations in Dubai.
Bin Sulayem noted that with the rising demand of additional luxury residences and the growth of DMCC, Mercer House would have two signature residential towers with studios, multi-family units and penthouses.
He stated that residents would be able to enjoy an excellent location, as they would be within walking distance of the Uptown Tower, as well as the Burj 2020 that is forthcoming.
