DAMAC Properties, the leading developer in the United Arab Emirates, awarded two BitcoContracting contracts.
These are for the construction of two Jumaamosques in the DAMAC Hills and DAMAC Hills 2, which are known to be prestigious communities.
The mosques
The two new mosques will be permanent and are meant to replace the temporary ones that exist currently.
These are portacabin structures that are much smaller size and the total number of worshippers that can be accommodated are around 673.
A strategic location has been chosen for the Jumaa mosques to make them easily accessible for all visitors and residents alike. They will be constructed along both communities’ ring road.
The preparatory work has already begun on the site of the two mosques and construction is happening according to the schedule. The two mosques are expected to be complete by the first quarter of 2025.
DAMAC Properties’ General Manager of Projects, Mohammad Tahaineh, said that they were looking forward to their collaboration with BitcoContracting for the two projects.
He went on to say that the construction of the two permanent Jumaa mosques showcased their commitment to provide the residents with world-class amenities and to ensure their communities have a holistic living experience.
DAMAC Hills
DAMAC Hills is the master community development of DAMAC Properties and has become a thriving community.
The most recent development that took place was the DAMAC Mall, which covers an area of about 110,000 square feet.
The community is self-contained and is a symbol of luxurious living in every aspect. The Mall is said to deliver unique shopping experiences.
Located within DAMAC Hills, the mall comprises of both local and some noteworthy international brands in different categories, which include 10 F&B outlets and 30 retail stores.
There are a number of modern townhouses, villas and apartments that make up the community and itincludes a number of amenities.
These amenities include the Jebel Ali School, wave pool, Malibu Bay beach, an international golf course and parkland that covers almost four million square feet.
DAMAC Hills 2
As far as the DAMAC Hills 2 master community is concerned, it provides a one-of-a-kind living experience.
The community has taken inspiration from sports and water and is fun for all ages. Even in Dubai, it gives Californian beach vibes because there are a horde of amenities provided.
These include a range of fields, a bird aviary, courts and pitches for sports enthusiasts, Lazy River and Malibu Beach.
There is also another master community under construction, which has been named DAMAC Lagoons, and it is adjacent to DAMAC Hills.
Having Mediterranean vibes, this community will have about 8,800 elegant townhouses and villas. It will cover an area of 48 million square feet and offer a range of premium fitness activities and lifestyle amenities.
A LEED gold certification is also sought for the new community and if it gets it, then it would become the first to get it in the United Arab Emirates under the LEED Cities and Communities Rating System.
